Music to get me over the hump - Dwight does George

The year was 1986. As I would walk down the hallway of our bachelor pad on High Street toward the cigar-smoke-filled office for an evening of reading, drinks and arguments I would invariably hear George Jones coming from the cassette player.
Dwight sings one of the greatest:

The good doctor is reading the American Spectator before it was cut down to size and before David Brock got another religion.
I used to love that rag. Best part about it IMHO was Ben Stein. I always thought he should put a book out of his diarys published in the AMSPEC.

They should have never reformatted that magazine OR hired David Brock. I still like it but remember when George Gilder, Tom Bethell, William McGurn, P.J. O'Rourke and RET filled my mind with great ideas. Ah, youth.
